Infrastructure

The Holy Cross School is spread on a sprawling area with two entry and exit points to make students, teachers and parents comfortable to let in and let out. It has two separate three-storey buildings for primary and high school respectively. The school has an aesthetic view due to its rich and varied gardens and the lake beyond its campus. It has two playground, one at front and one at the back for children to be fit and healthy. The playground has a badminton court, a basketball court, a table tennis area, a khokho ground and vast space for different track events. For primary children the ground has a swing, a merry-go-round, a slide and other rides for recreation. The premise has a big stage for daily morning prayers and different activities like annual functions and vivid celebrations. Beautifying our campus we have artificial water tanks for plants and aquatic species, an animal kingdom and a bird sanctuary that our students can observe. The school also has an aquarium and organic garden along with a wide parking space.

Classrooms

Our classrooms reflect our commitment to be innovators in education as well as environmental managers. Each class is not only airy, cheerful and spacious but also replete with modular furniture, extensive green and white boards, display boards and large windows. The classes have sufficient fans. The generator facility lets our students feel comfortable while learning.

Art room

To develop and shape our students creativity we have an art and craft studio for juniors as well as seniors. Our art room is well provided with the tools and items required for sketching, painting and crafts. By actively creating works of their own, the students enhance the skills of imagining, reflecting, seeing and fleeing in art.

Music room

To give importance to music in life, all basic musical equipments – harmonium, table, conga, drum, keyboards and others are accessible to the students. The school has its own choir. School days start on an invigorating note with spiritual and inspirational songs.

Sports room

The sports room has collection of playing equipments for variety of sports like- cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis and track events.

Auditorium

Our auditorium is extensively utilized as an integral domain of the school which is structured on the top floor of the high school building. The hall satisfies the needs of its assigned functions- be it multimedia presentation, to stage different competitions and holding seminars and orientation programs for teachers and students. It has the capacity to accommodate more than 1000 students. There is a separate hall in primary building for small activities called as Jubilee Hall.

Infirmary

At our school the well being of learners is of utmost importance symbolized by a well equipped infirmary with 4-5 beds that provides first-aid to a pupil in need, under the supervision of a full- time incharge, well trained in nursing.

Drinking Water

For safe drinking water the school has R.O. purifiers installed within the campus as well as in the corridors of each individual floor.

Toilets

There are toilets on each floor maintained to a high standard. Each toilet is provided with hand sanitizer.

Staffroom

The school has four staffrooms with personal desks, cupboards and common shelves.

Waiting Area

The school has a waiting hall and seating area for parents, guardians and visitors. Ample space and desks are provided near the Fee Counter.

Safety Measures

Creating and maintaining a safe learning environment is one of the primary concerns of the school. To ensure this a number of CCTV cameras are installed in the campus and corridors and the entire school is under its surveillance. Fire extinguishers are installed at every floor and emergency exits are present for use in case of safety threats.
